Created during the live performance The Source of Creativity at Toulouse Lautrec Jazz Club, this 120 cm round painting was made in real time using mixed media on transparent acrylic plexiglass. The work reflects the moment-to-moment intensity of improvised jazz, dance, and poetry, with marks responding directly to sound, space, and movement. A variety of tools—sponges, rollers, brushes, and markers—were used with both left- and right-hand gestures to create dynamic layers. Each stroke echoes the spontaneity and energy of the live event, transforming sound into visual rhythm.
